What file format should I upload?
PDF is our preferred file format for printing.
For the best results, please supply your artwork as a high-resolution, print-ready PDF, ideally with:
- 3mm bleed on all edges where the design runs to the edge of the page
- Images at approximately 300dpi at the finished print size
- Colours set to CMYK where possible
- Fonts embedded or converted to outlines
- Artwork supplied at the correct finished size
We can also accept common file formats such as JPG, PNG, TIFF and EPS, although these may not always be suitable for professional printing.
If your file has been created in Word, PowerPoint, Canva or another design application, we recommend exporting or downloading it as a high-quality PDF for print before uploading.
Not sure if your file is suitable? Upload it anyway. We’ll check your artwork before printing and contact you if we spot anything that could affect the finished result.
Can you check whether my artwork is suitable for printing?
We can provide practical advice about file size, bleed, resolution, colour settings and general print suitability. Customers remain responsible for supplying and proofreading their finished print-ready artwork.
How do I track the status of my order?
Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email. We will keep you informed about the progress of your order throughout production to delivery.
What should I do if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact our customer service team within 48 hours. We will resolve the issue promptly by reprinting or refunding your order.
Can I request a sample before placing a bulk order?
Yes, we provide print samples upon request to ensure you are satisfied with the quality before proceeding with a bulk order.
What is the minimum order quantity for printing?
There is no minimum order quantity for most of our printing services. Whether you need one item or thousands, we can accommodate your needs.
Do you offer eco-friendly printing options?
All our papers originate from sustainable sources and are FSC certified. We aim to provide a recycled option when available. Check the current stock options while ordering.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, PayPal, and bank transfers. Secure online payments can be made through our website during checkout.
Do I need to supply my own print ready artwork?
SM Print is an online printing service for customers supplying their own print-ready artwork. If you need to create your artwork, Canva provides useful templates and design tools. Once your file is ready, return to SM Print to upload it and place your print order.
What is your turnaround time for orders?
Our usual turnaround time is 3-5 business days for most print orders. However, we also offer expedited printing and shipping options for urgent orders.
